Split is an innovative fashion technology platform that revolutionizes how people approach their daily wardrobe decisions. By leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning, the app analyzes users' clothing collections and provides intelligent styling recommendations tailored to their personal preferences, occasions, and current fashion trends.
The platform goes beyond simple outfit suggestions by integrating with major fashion retailers, enabling users to shop for complementary pieces directly through the app. This seamless blend of personal styling and e-commerce creates a comprehensive fashion ecosystem that saves time and enhances the shopping experience.
The client wanted us to re-write their existing native Android and iOS app in Flutter. They sought to leverage Flutter's unified code repository for all platforms, maintaining native-level performance while enabling easier maintenance and UX enhancements. The project had a tight deadline due to the client's investor commitments and the need for a functional app to secure financing.
To meet the client's requirements, we re-wrote the app in Flutter, incorporating the new designs provided by the Pronti team and building upon the existing functionalities. We planned an iterative delivery approach, focusing on prioritizing the most valuable features and delivering frequent updates to achieve a minimum viable product (MVP) for production release. Collaboration and close cooperation with the Pronti team were crucial, as both teams worked on crucial front-end and back-end functionalities
